We  have many photographs of Europe and the USA including vacations, shopping trips, weddings, and our grandchildren.  We share some family history and memories.  We are Christian; we believe the Bible and our Lord Jesus Christ.  We provide online Bibles in many languages, study guides for the Bible, and an American Translation of the Bible called "The Holy New Covenant".

The most extensive section of our web home is dedicated to food.  We love to cook and to dine in and dine out.  We have recipes we have gathered from around the world and family.  We also offer many cooking tips.

Seafood and Fish Recipes

Seafood

  • Seafood is any sea animal that is served as food or is suitable for eating.  This usually includes sea water animals, such as fish and shellfish (including mollusks, and crustaceans).  These sea water animals are also collectively referred to as seafood.
  • Edible seaweeds are rarely considered seafood, even though they come from sea water and are widely eaten around the world.
  • The harvesting of seafood is known as fishing and the cultivation of seafood is known as aquaculture or mariculture.

 Fish

  • A fish is a poikilothermic (cold-blooded) water-dwelling vertebrate with gills.  There are over 27,000 species of fish, making them the most diverse group of vertebrates.  Taxonomically, fish are a paraphyletic group whose exact relationships are much debated; a common division is into the jawless fish (class Agnatha, 75 species including lampreys and hagfish), the cartilaginous fish (class Chondrichthyes, 800 species including sharks and rays), with the remainder classed as bony fish (class Osteichthyes).

  • Fish come in different sizes, from the 14 m (45 ft) whale shark to a 7 mm (just over 1/4 of an inch) long stout infant fish.  Many types of aquatic animals named "fish", such as jellyfish and cuttlefish, are not true fish.

I like Seafood and Fish very much.  However, I would much prefer to go to my favorite Seafood places rather than cooking it at home.  Therefore, my seafood recipes are few in number.  I live on the East Coast and Seaf0od is plentiful.  Even so here are recipes from Thom's Recipe File...
