Thom and Donna Hackett

Hi, we are Thom and Donna Hackett from Tennessee but we now call Virginia home.  Donna and I have been truly blessed by the God we have served over the past 40+ years of marriage.  What we have discovered is that the union of marriage is not always bliss.  However, if both want the marriage to succeed, then there must be a lot of give and take.  The give and take will not always be equal.  But, there is one thing that is always equal, and that is when there is a disagreement, it takes two to have an argument.  No matter how hard I tried, I just could not argue with Donna because she just refused to participate. 

She is, and has always been, a real blessing in my life.  She has always shown me love, even when I was certainly unlovable.  She has my devotion, and my love, as long as there is life within me.  Donna just as Michael Bolton says in his song, "When a man loves a woman he will spend his very last dime trying to hold on to what he needs.  He’d give up all his comforts and sleep out in the rain if she said that’s the way It ought to be.  I know exactly how he feels cause baby, baby, baby, I am your man."
