1 pound ground beef
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons chili powder
½
teaspoon black pepper
3 cups tomato juice
1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
sour cream
green onions, sliced
shredded cheddar cheese
chopped fresh tomatoes |
In 6-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook beef, green pepper
and onion with chili powder and pepper until beef is browned and
vegetables are tender, stirring to separate meat.

Spoon off fat.

Add tomato juice, kidney beans and great northern beans.

Heat
to boiling.

Reduce heat to low.

Cover; cook 20 minutes,
stirring occasionally.
