1 cup hot water 1 cup raisins 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup sugar ½ cup solid shortening 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 1⅓ cup flour ¼ cup chopped pecans |
Pour hot water over raisins and soda.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 350° oven. |
