½ cup grits
2½ cups boiling water
1 teaspoon salt |
One-half cup grits, washed in clear water
twice.

Add to
boiling 2½ cups water in which has been placed 1
teaspoon salt.

Boil 2 to 3 minutes. (Place in double boiler
and cook until done).

If it remains over heat, stir often.
Eat with butter. |
